When police arrived, Chief Brown said the suspect ran inside the house, came back out with a weapon and was told to put it down.
The suspect then turned toward police with a gun pointed and two deputies shot a total of seven rounds, killing the suspect.
A rifle was found inside the house, but no one was inside. The two officers that fired shots at the suspect were identified as Tony Battrous, who fired five shots and Keenan Samuel, who fired twice.
