Suspect flashes gun in Westside bank robbery

Jacksonville, FL — A suspect flashes a gun and makes off with cash from a Westside bank.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to an Atlantic Coast Federal Bank on Normandy Boulevard Thursday morning following a reported robbery. We’re told the suspect displayed a gun and demanded money from the teller, who complied. The suspect fled the scene on foot, heading eastbound.

The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20s, 5’8”-5’10”, thin build, who was wearing a dark hoodie and dark pants.

Nobody was hurt in this incident.
