JSO has released the identity of the man who they say admitted to robbing the Jimmy John's sandwich shop at Beach and University and we're learning why he says he robbed it in the first place.
Police say 38-year-old Billy Turner went into the restaurant and demanded money from the cash register before walking out. A quick-thinking witness, however, was able to snap a picture as Turner walked out of the store and called police.
Turner was found about a half mile from the restaurant by a JSO officer, who also found a large amount of money on the ground ten feet away.
He admitted to robbing the store in order to pay off his drug dealer. He's been charged with strong arm robbery.
