Nearly five months after a massive brawl outside of the Chick-Fil-A near the Orange Park Mall, the Clay County Sheriff’s Office is asking for your help.
Deputies are searching for any information you have about the young man pictured, who they believe is from Jacksonville’s Westside. CCSO tells us he is believed to have fired a gun during a disturbance outside of the restaurant on March 1st. Nobody was shot.
This incident is believed to have stemmed from a fight outside of the AMC movie theater that gradually disbursed through the immediate area. Deputies say juveniles involved in the fight ran in to and around other businesses, including Target, Verizon, and Buffalo Wild Wings.
CCSO received a call of “shots fired” at the Chick-Fil-A. One person was taken in to custody on the scene for resisting an officer without violence, but deputies believe the person who fired a gun during the fight is still on the loose. His identity is not known at this time. The restaurant’s front door was damaged.
If you have any information on this suspect’s identity, you’re asked to call CCSO Deputy Chris Crundle at 904-264-6512.
