We're getting a first look at new documents released by a former adviser and close friend of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that detail candid conversations between her and the former First Lady on topics ranging from single-payer healthcare to Bill Clinton's infidelity.
The Washington Free Beacon posted "The Hillary Papers" Sunday night, which portray Clinton as a "strong, ambitious, and ruthless Democratic operative." The documents show Clinton actually defended her husband in a phone call after he admitted to having a relationship with Monica Lewinsky, saying he'd made a mistake but was driven to it by political adversaries and her own shortcomings as a wife.
