We're learning new information about a police-involved shooting at the Big Cash Pawn Shop on the southside.
Jacksonville Police say Edward Garvin, his wife Sherry and their daughter Teal were all connected with a burglary spree involving up to 90 items at area pawn shops over the last month.
Police say Garvin wounded a police officer Wednesday before cops were able to take them into custody.
Police say the gun was a 9mm that was completely loaded, and it took four officers to take Edward Garvin into custody.
Edward Garvin is charged with six counts of attempted murder.
