Three hurt after trash-throwing truck causes accident

The Florida Highway Patrol is on the lookout for a pickup truck they say was throwing trash and caused an accident on I-295 at Pritchard Rd. on Sunday morning.

According to an FHP report they are searching for a red pickup truck of unknown make and model with dark tinted windows, a "Salt Life" sticker on the back window, and possible damage to the right rear side of the truck.

Deputies say the passenger in that truck was throwing trash out the window at the windshield of the car behind it, driven by 22-year-old Cherish Marrs. When Marrs tried to pass the truck on the right, it changed lanes and hit her, flipping her car and sending her and the other two passengers inside to UF Health in serious to critical condition.

Anyone with information on this vehicle is asked to contact the Florida Highway Patrol immediately.
