CLAY COUNTY, Fla. - A grand jury has indicted three individuals in the February shooting death of Clay County Detective David White.
A press release sent from the state attorney's office says Chasity Prescott, Ryan Wilder, and Jennifer Alder were all indicted on several felony counts on Wednesday morning. All three will be charged with one count of first degree murder in the death of White, one count of second degree murder in the death of Ted Tilley, the man who shot Detective White, three counts of attempted second degree murder for shooting at other Clay deputies on scene, and one count of trafficking in methamphetamine while armed.
Wilder and Prescott will also face an additional charge of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and Prescott faces yet another additional charge of armed burglary on her own for inhabiting the property illegally.
Detective David White was fatally shot during a February raid of a meth lab in Middleburg. His partner, Detecive Matt Hanlin, was also shot and is still recovering from his injuries.
