The president of the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors tells WOKV the housing market on the first coast is improving and says you should use the holiday season to your advantage.
"The mortgage market is not the same as it was even two years ago nevermind five or ten years ago."
Carol Zingone says the best thing a buyer can do is get pre-approval on a mortgage. She tells WOKV you need to prove you can afford the home of your dreams.
"You really need to know what you can buy. You need to be able to show when you make an offer that you can afford that property you're making an offer on."
She says decorating your home during the holidays is a great boost to help you sell.
"The holidays is usually when a house shows one of its best throughout the whole year."
