Several men were hospitalized after two separate shootings took place on the Westside within hours of each other.
The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office said two men were shot around 11 p.m. Thursday off 103rd Street at the Jacksonville Heights Apartment Complex.
One cousin shot two other cousins after a fight started in a store earlier that night. Both men were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
JSO said they are still searching for the suspect and said it was an isolated incident.
About five hours later, police responded to an attempted robbery that ended with shots being fired.
JSO said this victim was shot around 3:50 a.m. Friday in the 8200 block of Buttercup Street.
The suspect and victim knew each other and the suspect was aware the victim was carrying money, according to JSO.
Police said the suspect in the second incident is still on the run, but said the two shootings are not related.
