Weekend Events- Jacksonville Symphony, Christmas lights and more

Friday-

The Jacksonville Symphony presents the classic film, 'It's a Wonderful Life' with the entire score perfectly performed by the Symphony. 7pm at the Times Union Center.

Spanky Brown peforms at the Comedy Zone at 8:30pm. You’ve seen him on Comedy Central and the former host of Barbershop Critics.

Saturday-

Candy Cain making class where you will watch the age-old tradition of creating hand-made candy canes. All the guests will shape their own candy canes and take them home. Children must be 4+ and the class is $15

Looking for the some of the best Christmas lights in town? Check out the Morocco Shrine Center starting at 6pm because they have over a half million lights that dance to the music. The 1 mile drive also offers free hot chocolate and candy canes. The Christmas lights on Girvin Rd and Deck the Chairs by the Beaches are both great options too.

Sunday-

The 7th Annual Winterfest at Adventure Landing features an outdoor Ice Skating Rink, Ice Slide and a transformed water-park into a cozy alpine experience with a Blizzard Bluff Village, Crystal Creek Lodge and Mistletoe Marketplace.
