Woman arrested for trespassing inside local high school

Jacksonville, Fl. — 18-year-old Ronika Dixon is no longer behind bars after she was arrested Wednesday morning by the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office at Biscayne High School.

According to the police report, the principal of the school had told Dixon to leave school grounds immediately, but the 18-year-old refused and started to walk away. The responding officer had also commanded Dixon to stop and come to him but continued to walk away.

The officer grabbed Dixon by the arm and attempted to walk her out of the school, but she snatched it away resisting the officer’s control. The officer then pushed the woman into a corner of the hallway and regained control of both of Dixon’s hands.

The principal came down the hallway to try and assist, that’s when Dixon lunged towards the principal trying to headbutt her just before she attempted in her face. The principal put her hands up to defend herself and then helped the officer take Dixon to the ground.

Dixon was booked into jail with three misdemeanors for trespassing on school grounds after warning, resisting officer without violence, and assault on a school employee.
