Jacksonville, Fl. - Two Westside convenience stores were both robbed around the same time Friday morning, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
Two men held 7 Eleven workers at gunpoint just before 3:30 a.m., police reports show.
Police were called to a Kangaroo Express about an hour later because of the same crime.
Both cases involved two armed men wearing all black, then fleeing on foot with the money they demanded.
Police reports show the suspects used a black gun and a silver gun in both incidents.
No one was hurt in either store, but a worker from 7 Eleven told WOKV the victims were “very shaken up.”
The suspects in both robberies are described as black.
Workers at both stores told WOKV that police had the security footage of both incidents, but the reports show they still have not tracked down the suspects.
The 7 Eleven robbery took place at 3613 Lane Ave S. The Kangaroo Expresses robbery happened at 6003 Roosevelt Blvd, according to the reports.
