Jacksonville, FL —

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office has arrested three boys after police say they confessed to throwing rocks at cars on I-1o near Chaffee Road.

Police say two brothers, ages 12 and 14, confessed to their mom that they threw rocks off the overpass.

A 15-year-old boy has also been arrested.

All three boys are charged with shooting/throwing deadly missles, which is a second degree felony.

Police say the boys admitted to hitting about twenty cars and were aiming at semi trucks.

The incident caused the shattering of a windshield of a semi-truck and injured the driver last Friday.
