Palo Duro Meat recalling 40,000 pounds of frozen ground beef products. The recall sparked because of the threat of E. Coli. after some lab testing.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture says the meat was produced on September 9th and shipped to two warehouses in Georgia. From there the meat was supposed to be used at six Georgia school districts associated with the National School Lunch Program.
Most of the meat apparently has left the warehouses and the government doesn’t believe any of that meat has been served as school lunches.
No reports of illnesses from this recall.
Each case of meat being recalled should say, “Est. 7282” inside the USDA mark of the inspection and a production code of 19110.
