7-Eleven may be looking to return to Jacksonville for the first time in 21 years.
The convenience store chain is considering putting in a store in Avondale. But not everyone is looking to get their Slurpee fix.
"The type of shops you find here are a little more exclusive", said one woman to our news partner Channel 4.
Others say the store will only attract those who want to buy beer or cigarettes.
Some Avondale residents have started a page called "Avondale Says NO! To Convenience Stores!"
7-Eleven sent our news partner Channel 4 a statement confirming that they are looking at Avondale for a new location.
"Our practice is to work closely with the city planning department officials so that we provide an opportunity for residents and neighbors to have input into the development."
