Jacksonville, FL —

If you're a veteran looking for a new job, you may want to check this out.

An All Veterans Career Fair is being held Thursday, December 1st, from 11 am to 3 pm.

Doug Turner, Director of Military Relations with RecruitMilitary, says it's completely free.

"It's completely free for any veteran and their family member to go down there. Free parking. Free for them to go in," Turner says.

Around 35 companies are expected to be there, offering jobs in all sorts of fields.

Turner explains, "If they're interested in finance, they can talk to Farmer's, First Command, Regions Financial. If they want to talk to anyone in healthcare, they have ACA Healthcare, WellStart Health..."

Turner recommends bringing about 50 copies of your resume to hand out, wearing business apparel, and having a 30-second speech ready to go, explaining why you should be hired.

Before the event kicks off, there will be two seminars:

'The Next Mission Awaits: Your Degree' starts at 10 am.'Who We Are and What We Do' begins at 10:15 am.
