Jacksonville, FL —
A bicyclist shot several times in East Arlington. Our news partner Channel 4 reporting a man, who didn’t want to be identified was hit twice while riding down Fort Caroline Road near St. Johns Bluff Road.
The men who shot him haven’t been arrested. The victim told Channel 4, “I noticed a green SUV go flying past me . . . they pulled over in the bike lane probably about 1,000 yards away. They had their flashers on. I kept riding my bike.”
A short while later he says three men jumped out of the car. One of them pointed at a gun at him, “I hit the gun with my elbow,” says the victim. “It shot through my left bicep and went through my right forearm.”
The man got on his bike and pedaled away. He hid behind some palm trees.
If you have any information on this crime call Crime Stoppers at 866-845-TIPS.
