We’ve confirmed the Navy will cancel the Blue Angels April shows, however further scheduling remains in the air.
The Blue Angels Public Affairs Office posted on its Facebook page that, as a result of sequestration budget cuts and the continuing resolution, four April shows have been cancelled. This includes one at MacDill AFB in Tampa.
The Navy plans to wait until “the last possible moment” to make any further cancellations. The show at NAS Jacksonville is October 26-27.
They further say the Blue Angels are continuing to train and stand ready to perform if the cancellations are reversed.
