MIDDLEBURG, Fla. —
The Clay County Sheriff's Office is investigating a body found in a burning car in a wooded area.
The Division of Forestry and Fire Rescue responded to a small woods fire on SR 21 south of Middleburg late Friday morning.
They noticed a car on fire and after extinguishing the fire, they discovered a body inside the car.
The sheriff's office says its robbery/homicide unit will be joining the investigation.
