Police investigating multiple bomb threats called in one week

A string of big bomb threats called in to Northeast Florida police today is part of a recurring problem.
Around 3:45 PM today the Clay County Sheriff’s Office received an anonymous bomb threat called in for the Orange Park Mall. Several portions of the mall were either evacuated or locked down as deputies and mall security swept the building and uncovered nothing suspicious.
Around 4:40 PM the JTA Central Station received a bomb threat, and under the advisement of the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the Skyway was shut down entirely. It is now running once again.
Jacksonville Police confirm they believe the incidents are related. They tell us they have received a number of bomb threats called in this week they believe are all linked and are actively investigating the source.
