Canadian couple sue Jacksonville adoption agency

By Michelle Rotella

Jacksonville, FL —

A Canadian couple is suing Family Support Services of North Florida saying the adoption agency never told them the background of the two children they adopted from Jacksonville.

The adoptive parents are saying the two children were physically, sexually, and mentally abused while in foster care.

According to the lawsuit Channel 4 has reported the sibling who are eight and six now, were shuttled from one home to another. Five in all, suffering from being yelled at, beaten, denied food, performing sexual acts, and much more.

The adoptive parents have said they would have never adopted from Jacksonville if they knew this would have happened.

They are suing the agency to pay the bills of the children's medical and psychiatric care.
