JACKSONVILLE, FLA. —

Congresswoman Corrine Brown has strong opinions on the contempt of Congress vote against Attorney General Eric Holder.

Democrats walked out of the House chamber in protest, and Congresswoman Corrine Brown says she was one of the leaders.

"This is truly a do-nothing Congress that don't want to do anything but 'gotcha' politics," she said.

Brown says the vote of contempt has nothing to do with the botched Fast and Furious gun-walking operation but actually Holder's attempts to stop the purging of voter rolls.

She says the operation started under George W. Bush.

"When the attorney general came into office, he found out about it and stopped it.  I mean it's just bull****. I hate to tell ya," Brown said.

Brown says this Congress will probably go down as "the worst, most do-nothing Congress."

She says they're all about the politics and not about getting work done.

"You send people up here that's not interested in doing the peoples' business.  It's just gotcha, gotcha, gotcha."

On Facebook, many of our listeners said Bush's similar program, Operation Wide Receiver, ended in 2007 while Fast and Furious started in 2009.

Mike Boyer said, "the limited number of firearms used in the program had tracking devices. When the drug criminals found them, the program was discontinued."

Marc Fogle said no guns were lost and nobody died.

Congresswoman Corrine Brown had some "furious" words on the House's vote of contempt against Attorney General Eric Holder.
