SARASOTA, Fla. —
A Duval County Teacher goes from the school house to the jail house.
Leonard Hoffman, 32, is in a Sarasota cell right now on $400,000 bail on charges of sexual battery and unlawful sexual activity against a teenage student.
No word yet on when or where the crime occured, but police and officials with the Department of Education are investigating the case.
Hoffman used to teach at Paxon School for Advanced Studies until he was pushed into resigning at the start of this month.
