Jacksonville, FL —
A man convicted of killing a Coral Gables police officer back in 1978 is facing execution today at the Florida State Prison.
Barring a last-minute stay, Manuel Valle is to become the first Florida prisoner to be executed using a newly-revised mix of lethal drugs.
The execution is set for 4:00 this afternoon.
