JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —
The FDOT wants your feedback on the concept of express lanes here in the Jacksonville area.
The purpose of the express lanes would be to relieve congestion on major freeways.
Even though voters in Jacksonville voted out tolls several years ago, the concept is making a comeback.
The public meeting will be in the form of an open house from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Ramada Conference Center, 3130 Hartley Rd. (I-295 at the San Jose interchange in Mandarin).
A presentation will be made at 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30 p.m. so those who attend can choose a time that is most convenient.
