FAA blames Congress for stalling JIA projects

By Tiffany Griffith

Jacksonville, FL —

According to Kathleen Bergen with the Federal Aviation Administration, until that legislation moves forward two projects - with a combined worth of about $1.5 million, can't move forward.

Those projects need grants, and the FAA employee in the Hilliard office, in charge of moving those grants forward, is among the thousands who were furloughed.
