NASSAU COUNTY, Fla. —
The Florida Highway Patrol says a 22 year-old Hilliard man wasn't wearing his seatbelt when he died in a crash just before 1 a.m. on Friday.
According to the report, Brett Goodwin was traveling southbound in the northbound lanes of US-1 in his 1993 Chevy Silverado when he traveled off the roadway onto the grass shoulder.
He kept driving until he struck a struck off US-1 just south of Church Drive in Nassau.
FHP pronounced Goodwin dead at the scene. His family has been notified.
