Former officer has DUI charge dropped

By WOKV News Team

Jacksonville, FL —

One day after former Jacksonville police officer Michael Rolison spoke out publicly about his DUI arrest, the state attorney's office says it's dropping the charge.

Prosecutors say there's insufficient evidence to bring Rolison to trial.

He was forced to resign after crashing his cruiser head-on into another car in St. Johns County last year.

The state attorney's office is dropping a DUI charge against a former Jacksonville Sheriff's Officer.
