Marietta, GA —

As national attention grows around the Jordan Davis case, his family and friends say their final goodbyes to the 17-year-old.

Davis' classmates at Wolfson High School told Channel 4, it was worth the drive from Jacksonville to Marietta, Georgia to say goodbye to their friend.

“There was nobody that didn't like Jordan, everybody was friends with Jordan,” said Bri Anderson.

But, Anderson and Samantha Williams said it didn't seem real looking at him in the casket.

"The last time I spoke to him was Thursday night, on Thanksgiving. It’s just so hard because I miss him so much,” said Williams.

Jordan was killed by gunfire at a Southside gas station the day after Thanksgiving. 45-year old Michael Dunn has been charged with murder and attempted murder, and is being held at the Duval County Jail. Legal proceedings are just beginning. Dunn's attorney says her client asked the teens to turn down their loud music and was threatened with a gun, but Jacksonville Police say the teens had no weapons.
