Gas prices up, could fall in coming weeks

By Matt Augustine

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —

The prices of gas has gone up again...

"In these two weeks, they're up eight cents per gallon to a regular grade average of $3.84," says independent oil analyst Trilby Lundberg.

Lundberg says as refineries shut down by Hurricane Isaac come back online, the price of fuel may begin to go down slightly.

"Several refineries because of the landing of Isaac and several others, although they did not close completely, were running at reduced rates.

Here in Jacksonville, regular unleaded is averaging nine cents lower than the national average at $3.75 a gallon.  That's one cent lower than the state average.
