St. Johns County, FL —
A St. Augustine man is charged with video voyeurism targeting the clients of a gym where he works.
St. Johns County Sheriff’s deputies began investigating earlier this week when a 25-year-old woman reported a suspicious incident at the World Gym on US 1 South. The victim then found a gym employee had allegedly placed his cell phone in a closet to record people getting in to and out of a tanning booth.
36-year-old Jerry Lewis Hackney has been arrested. Detectives have taken his phone and other evidence to find whether there are any other victims.
The Sheriff’s Office says more charges are pending further investigation.
