A high school basketball coach charged with soliciting sexual activity from a minor bonded out of jail on Tuesday after he was fired from Liberty High School in Osceola County on Friday.
Sheriff's deputies say the parents of a 17-year-old student told them 27-year-old Bryan Lockley was texting her pictures of himself and discussing non-school related issues. One text even asked when the girl turned 18 so she could "come to my side of town and party with me." Lockley also allegedly invited her to stay in his hotel room in Daytona Beach on spring break, allegedly saying it would be fine and that no one would know because it's in Daytona.
Students say they're surprised because Lockley was laid back, and acted like one of them.
