Life in prison for the Jacksonville man convicted of killing his ex-girlfriend.
The State Attorney’s Office says 27-year-old Kevin Christopher Jones was at the home of 26-year-old Latoya Jones when he stabbed her in December 2010. After stabbing her, he then forced the injured woman to drive him around town, and while in the car Jones strangled Latoya. He then jumped out of the moving car and watched it drive in to a telephone pole.
Last month he was convicted of second degree murder.
