PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla. —

Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush will be taking a break from his book tour to talk education here on the First coast.

WOKV has learned he'll be the keynote speaker for the second annual "Champions for Education Conference" on April 30, just before The Players Championship.

Bush says the region is piosed for real change in education and boosting high school graduation.  He wants every Jacksonville graduate to be ready for success in college, a push the PGA is making during the tour as well.

They've pledged to raise $50 million over 10 years for education and programs in Northeast Florida.

Bush will join Duval Superintendent Nikolai Vitti and other local and state education leaders for the event.
