A Jacksonville man, who police say shot himself while mishandling a gun, has died. The Jacksonville's Sheriff's Office is telling us that 19-year-old Kenneth Rashaard Smith is now deceased.
J.S.O. said previously that 20-year-old Darryl Austin had been arrested in relation to this case for Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon and Tampering with Evidence, for removing the gun from the scene.
The incident occurred at 11120 Key Haven, near I295 and Dunn Avenue.
