Jacksonville, Fla., -- May 27, 2012 Effective immediately, JTA has suspended bus operations serving the Beaches. All inland bus routes will continue to operate normally, with the exception of stops scheduled for any area east of the Intracoastal Waterway. Beaches service will resume when the weather conditions are safe to do so. JTA will continue to monitor wind speeds and may make additional service changes as weather dictates. Customers may call JTA Dispatch at 632-5542 for additional service information.
(May 27, 2012) St. Augustine, FL – Due to the deteriorating conditions of Tropical Storm Beryl, tonight’s concert at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre featuring Colbie Caillat and Gavin DeGraw will not go on as scheduled. Amphitheatre management was advised at late this evening, that the storm was gaining strength and had shifted to a more southerly course. Following the update, the storm was predicted to come ashore, which would lead to worse conditions about midway through the program. Ticketholders should hold onto their tickets and check with box office at (904) 209-0367 , our website (www.staugamphitheatre.com) and our social media outlets on Tuesday for further details on rescheduling and the event’s status.
MEDIA ALERT: The World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum and World Golf Hall of Fame IMAX Theater will be closed on Monday, May 28, due to Tropical Storm Beryl. Barring any further developments, the Hall of Fame and IMAX Theater will be open and return to normal operating hours on Tuesday, May 29.
