Jacksonville, FL —
It will be a big introduction for one candidate, and a two-fold fight for the other.
Northeast Florida Congressman Ander Crenshaw says tonight’s Vice Presidential debate will really be Paul Ryan’s first chance on the national stage.
“He’s bright, he’s smart, he’s energetic and I think he just needs to be focused because he’s gunna be- I think- attacked over and over again by Biden,” Crenshaw says.
He expects Vice President Joe Biden will be aggressive tonight against Ryan, but he will play defense as well.
“One of the big problems for Biden is he’s gotta defend Obama’s record and it’s just failed policies and broken promises,” he says.
Crenshaw says if Ryan stays focused on the issues, his intelligence and youth will give him an edge- but Biden’s experience in debate cannot be counted out.
