Look out, bosses -- Cyber Monday is here!

By Andrew Greenstein

Jacksonville, FL —

If you didn't want to get caught up in the frenzied atmosphere of long lines and aggressive shoppers of Black Friday, don't worry -- Cyber Monday is here.

It's turned into the second Black Friday , only without the pepper spray and frayed nerves.

Millions of people log on to their favorite online stores -- many on their employers' time -- for deep discounts on everything from flat screen TVs to children's toys.

"I like the online thing because a lot of companies offer the same products (with) free shipping, so I don't have to wait in lines and the hustle and bustle," says one online shopper.

More than 120-million people are expected to shop online, with sales topping last year's record of $1 billion.

"For the most part, people are in a better position than they were three or four years ago," says Brayden Knell of the National Retail Federation.  "They paid down debt, they put money into savings, and that that means they're a little bit comfortable shopping."

Online purchasing now makes up between eight and ten-percent of holiday retail sales.
