Jacksonville, FL —

The man Jacksonville Police say is responsible for killing a teenaged mother has been found in South Florida.

JSO Lieutenant Rob Schoonover says the US Marshals located 26-year-old Jose Valle at his sister’s home in Palm Beach County on Saturday.  Valle has been charged with the murder of 18-year-old Rosa Garcia.

Police responded to the 2900 block of Don Quixote Circle South last Thursday around 11 AM in reference to a dead body.  They found Garcia beaten and strangled to death.  Schoonover says it appears Valle- who relatives say was married to Garcia, although JSO would not confirm- had been in an argument that turned violent with Garcia the night before.

“Out after work, started drinking, came home and got in an argument with her,” Schoonover says.

Valle’s sister, who found the body, told police she was tipped off by her brother.

“Handed his sister the keys to the residence and his child and said that someone needed to go check on Rosa,” Schoonover says.

At that point, Schoonover says Valle fled to Palm Beach County where he was located.

WOKV has learned this is not Valle’s first run in with the law.  He has actually been deported twice before.  Schoonover says Valle was deported from California in June 2009 because of domestic violence.  In January 2011 he was located in Texas, and deported once again relating to the initial charge in 2009.

“Two times he’s crossed the border and this time, he’s come back in and killed a female,” he says.

Valle is now awaiting extradition back to Jacksonville, where he is charged with murder.
