We're learning more about a weekend stabbing on the Westside that left a man in the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
JSO responded to the Baker Avenue home around 8 Saturday night where Jerrel Murray and his girlfriend Arnesia Isham were in a verbal argument over Isham going to a club. Murray's brother, who was on the couch, says he overheard the argument and noticed Isham with a serrated kitchen knife. When he went to the bedroom he saw Murray with a stab wound to the chest and called 911.
Murray was taken to Shands with life-threatening injuries and as of this morning he is still in critical condition. Isham was arrested for aggravated battery.
