Jacksonville, FL —
The man who was shot and killed at a Northwest Jacksonville park Friday evening has been identified as 23-year-old Charles Jenkins.
Channel 4 reported, Jenkins and a 9 or 10-year-old boy were at Beverly Hills park and shot during a large fight, just after 7pm.
When officers arrived a large group of people were reportedly running down the street. Jenkins was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Rescuers took the child to Shands with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police haven't released any further information on the shooting.
