Jacksonville Police spent Monday afternoon investigating a homicide near Naval Air Station Jacksonville.
They say a 23-year-old man was shot and killed at the Madison at Savannah Oaks Apartment Homes on the Westside.
According to Sgt. Dan Jansen, there was an altercation around 2pm and gunshots were heard. Harold Woodard was rushed to the hospital, but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Police say they're still searching for the gunman, and ask you to call 1-866-845-TIPS with any details you may have about the crime. Investigators say this is the 11th murder in Jacksonville this month, and the 89th of this year.
