A meth lab has been busted on the Westside.
Police, fire rescue and the bomb squad cleaned up the meth lab at 8830 Normandy Blvd.
"They located several items that would indicate that they did have remnants of a meth lab," says Assistant Chief Pat Ivey of the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
A woman who lives in the house is under arrest, and no neighboring homes had to be evacuated.
Ivey says this is the fifth meth lab bust in Jacksonville this year, compared to 17 all of last year.
