JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —
Two new red light cameras are going active on Monday, July 29.
They're the ones that monitor the northbound and southbound approaches at San Jose Boulevard and Claire Lane.
As with all of the red light cameras, there will be a 30-day grace period where drivers will only be issued warnings in the mail.
After the grace period, drivers will receive a ticket for $158 in the mail. The fine goes up to $274 if not paid within 30 days.
