The mother of 13-year-old Cristian Fernandez shows up late today to stand before a new judge..forcing attorneys to waive her rights to a pretrail hearing.
Bianella Susana is charged with negligent manslaughter after prosecutors say she left Fernandez alone with his 2-year-old half brother when she was aware the toddler was abused by him in the past.
The charge also stems from her lack of alerting authories when she found the toddler after the incident.
Prosecutors also say the reason for her late arrival was from a transfer issue from jail.
Her pretrial date has been rescheduled for February 2.
