Your next trip to Chicago may have just gotten a little easier.
The Jacksonville Aviation Authority has announced a new daily, direct flight between JIA and Chicago’s Midway Airport.
The Southwest Airlines flights will begin September 29, 2013. The f light from Jacksonville will leave 4:50 PM, the flights from Midway will leave 12:10 PM.
Southwest will become the first nonstop air service from JIA to Midway. American and United currently fly to O’Hare.
