St. Augustine Beach, FL —
A local couple was only married for 16 days before they were killed on Christmas day.
Trevor and Jennifer Leonardi did not survive a car wreck near Anastasia State Park yesterday. According to investigators with the St. Augustine Beach Police Department, the newlyweds were driving northbound on A1A near Red Cox Road just before the accident occured.
Trevor attempted to take a curve, but his 2007 Nissan Titan rammed into a tree. The couple was killed on the scene.
