A Putnam County drug bust had a much more violent outcome than agents may have expected.
Putnam, Flagler and St. Johns officers joined forces for the drug sting, but it quickly turned into a shoot out.
FDLE investigators say the injured officer will survive his wounds, but one of the suspects was killed, another is at the hospital with a gunshot wound to the neck, and a third suspect was found uninjured in the woods.
No word yet on who shot first, but FDLE agents are investigating.
