JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —

Jacksonville police arrested a nineteen year-old woman who's accused of stealing purses from elderly women at the grocery store.

According to a news release, police say Jessica Ann Mystkowski follows elderly women in the grocery store.  When they turn away from their cart, Mystkowski snatches their purse from the front of the cart.

She then goes straight to the nearest Winn-Dixie grocery store and uses the victim's stolen credit or debit cards to purchase Visa gift cards.  Police say Mystkowski continues to purchase more gift cards until the victim's credit or debit cards are no longer accepted.

Mystkowski has struck multiple victims over the past 30 days.

She was arrested Tuesday evening in Clay County, and police say she may face additional charges in that jurisdiction.
